St Bronagh’s weekly Club Notes.
Well done to our U14s who recorded their first win of the season with a great victory over Tullylish
The U16s also got a tremendous victory away to Attical. In a thrilling game the boys snatched a last minute point to win it and keep their bid for a league play off place on course
At the opposite end of such a score line were our ladies who were edged out 5-13 – 5-12 by Mayobridge in a thrilling encounter at Pettit Park
The seconds lost to Castlewellan while the seniors conceded a late goal in a one point defeat at Clann na Banna
Commiserations to Christopher Killen and Blain McGrath who were both part of the Down minor squad who lost out to Monaghan. Keep the heads up lads – you represented the club in a very positive light throughout the season and no doubt will have gained invaluable experience to take back to the club minor team for the remainder of the season
The down club championship draws have been made. The seniors have drawn Mayobridge, the seconds will face Carryduff , while the thirds will have to overcome Attical
