Annual Award Night Success

We were spoilt last night with some fantastic words by our Guest Speaker Dick Clerkin of Monaghan. The organising committee of Evan Connolly, Ciaran Sloan, Claire Gibbons & Siobhan Parr done a fantastic job as everyone who was there will agree. Our Ulster Finalists, team and management were welcomed as special guests and were presented with their Down Intermediate & Ulster runner up medals.

We had speeches from our Past Senior Manager Shane Mulholland who echoed the success of our Senior Team last year and wished the team and Management every sucess in the coming year.

Our Guest speaker Dick Clerkin highlighted the importance of unity in our club & Senior team and spoke of the past successes of St Bronagh’s, highlighting the possibility of future success throughout our club.

We also welcomed our County Chairman Sean Rooney who said a few words followed by our own Chairman Ciaran Sloan who took to the stage. Ciaran congratulated all award winners on the night and strived for everyone to get involved in their local club.

Patsy Cunningham and Francie Farrell two former Rostrevor footballers and life long supporters of St Bronaghs GFC were formally inaugurated as joint presidents of the club – we look forward to these great clubmen continuing the support in their new role.
