St Bronagh’s GAA AGM took place on Monday 9th December 2019 in the Social Club.
Chairman Ciaran Sloan welcomed members and the past 12 months was detailed through the Secretary’s Report followed by presentation of the Club Accounts from the Treasurer. Ciaran concluded with his own address before the Election of Officers took place for 2020. There were a few changes to Executive Roles, with Secretary Richie Reynolds indicating he was not seeking reelection after 6 years in the post. Ciaran thanked Richie for his service to the club as Secretary, and during the Election of Officers Dermot Baxter was appointed Secretary for 2020. Our thanks and best wishes to Dermot for undertaking this role. Dermot will be supported by Richy Byrne as Assistant Secretary, while Paul Magee will assist Ciaran as Vice Chairperson. Congratulations to Paul and Richy.
In other changes, Tomas Mulholland has taken over the role of Registrar from outgoing Evan Connolly, and Gerard Fitzpatrick took the vacant County Board Rep position. Richie Reynolds will be club PRO during 2020 and we are delighted to have Rita Hughes as newly appointed Health & Well-being Officer. Other named roles remained unchanged, with a full list below.
With a full restructure of the Management Committee taking place over the next few months there will be a need for further volunteers to contribute to the newly formed Sub Committees. Each Sub Committee Chair as well as the club as a whole will be seeking to recruit volunteers during 2020.
Best wishes to the incoming Management Committee.
