The Annual Friends of Rostrevor Gala Ball this year will tie in with our Centenary Celebrations as our ‘Centenary Gala Ball’. It will take place in the Canal Court Hotel Newry on 30th November and we hope to fill the room with Rostrevor Gaels past and present. We encourage as many people as possible to join us for the pinnacle of our Centenary year and make it a night to remember for the club.
The theme is ‘Red & Black’ and tickets for the event will be priced at £50. Friends of Rostrevor will receive two complimentary tickets as normal. Friends will receive their letter and invite in due course. Corporate tables will also be available to purchase. Further ticket details and how to buy will be published soon.
The Irish Classes will begin next Tuesday 8th October in Saint Bronagh’s Clubrooms, Starting at 8pm sharp & finishing at 9pm.
The days and times can be changed if it is found to inconvenience too many people.
Everyone is invited to attend whether they have put their name forward or not. GCSE students wishing to practice their conversation would also be welcome.

The Club is hoping to run Irish Classes for adults over the darker months to help while away the winter. If anyone is interesting in attending would they please text their name to Dermot Baxter on 07936456234 or let any member of the committee know.
We will hold a meeting to arrange the most suitable times and if different levels are required. Everyone is welcome and, hopefully, will be catered for.
Please note that we have invested in new cardio/conditioning machines in the Club Gym this week including a new rowing machine and an AirDyne bike.
We ask users of the gym to make sure this equipment and the other machines are not moved from their current location. Moving these machines incorrectly can cause damage to the equipment resulting in down time and incurring maintenance costs.
Brilliant weather yesterday evening and a brilliant session for our u12 girls with guest trainer Annie Higgins. Thanks Annie.
